Care guide
01. WASHING
Avoid washing your cashmere too frequently. Allow pieces to air between wears and clean only when necessary. For small stains, treat the affected area rather than washing the entire garment. When washing is required, use a gentle detergent suitable for wool. Hand wash or machine wash on a cold, delicate wool cycle. Avoid spinning to protect the fibres.
02. DRYING
After washing, lay garments flat on a towel to dry. This helps maintain their original shape. Hanging may cause stretching and distortion. Never tumble dry, as heat will shrink the fibres.
03. MAINTENANCE
Pilling is a natural characteristic of cashmere, particularly when new or in areas exposed to friction. Gently remove pills using a fabric shaver or a soft brush. Avoid wool combs, as they may damage the fibres. For brushed cashmere, use a dedicated wool brush to maintain a clean, even surface. Steaming can be used to refresh the garment, ideally after de-pilling, to restore a smooth finish.
04. STORAGE
Store cashmere pieces folded flat on a shelf or in a drawer to preserve their shape. Avoid hanging, as this may cause stretching. Do not overcrowd garments, allowing space to prevent creasing.
