CARE GUIDE

CASHMERE & MERINO WOOL

Cashmere and merino wool are materials that we currently use the most in our pieces. They both are long-lasting natural materials that you will be able to wear for years and years forward if you take good care of them. By following our care instructions below, we will guide you through how to wash, dry and store your wool & cashmere pieces in the best possible way.

WASHING

First of all, do not wash your cashmere & merino wool pieces too often. Let them air between uses and only wash when really needed. If you get a stain on your piece, treat the stained area only so you don’t have to wash the whole piece just because of one little stain.

When you do have to wash your cashmere & merino wool pieces, make sure to use a delicate detergent appropriate for wool. You can either hand wash or machine wash but make sure to use cold water and preferably a dedicated wool program when machine washing. No spinning.

DRYING

Always let you cashmere & merino wool pieces dry on a flat surface after washing, preferably on a towel. By drying them flat you ensure that the pieces keep their shape. By hanging them dry they might stretch and loose their form. Never tumble dry, it will shrink the pieces.

MAINTENANCE

It is natural for cashmere and wool pieces to pill, especially when the pieces are new or in heavy use. Pilling is most often seen in areas exposed to friction. You can easily remove the pilling with a special lint remover machine. We don't recommend using any kind of wool brushes to remove pilling. After washing and wearing your cashmere and merino wool pieces a few times the pilling tends to decrease.

To keep your cashmere and merino wool pieces smooth and fresh steam them when needed. We recommend steaming after removing the pilling.

Also good to keep in mind that your cashmere and merino wool pieces in good condition, let them rest once in a while and do not wear the same pieces daily.

STORAGE

The best way to store your cashmere & merino wool pieces is by folding them flat on a shelf or in a drawer. Always avoid hanging them on hangers as it it might stretch the garment causing it loosing its shape. Also keep in mind to not store your knits too tightly as it may cause wrinkles on them.

SATIN

Our satin pants and skirts are made from a luxurious and responsible fabric comprising 75% Naia™ cellulosic fiber and 25% polyester. Naia™ fiber is designed to maintain its quality and aesthetic appeal over time. By following our care instructions below, we will guide you through how to wash, dry and store your satin pieces in the best possible way.

WASHING

Naia™ fiber is designed to maintain its quality and aesthetic appeal over time. It can be washed in a washing machine without losing its shine and texture. The incredible softness of Naia™ endures wash after wash, providing a sense of ease every time it touches your skin.

You can either hand wash or machine wash, but make sure to use cold water (max 30 degrees Celsius / 86 degrees Fahrenheit) and preferably a delicate washing program with a gentle detergent suitable for satin. Do not bleach and tumble dry. Use professional dry clean only.

DRYING

Let your satin pieces dry naturally by hanging. We recommend that don’t tumble dry, as it might shrink the pieces. Avoid wringing or twisting the garment. Dry the satin pieces away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading.

MAINTENANCE

The best care for your satin pieces is by steaming them regularly with a steamer. It keeps the satin pieces smooth and fresh, offering a delicate option to remove wrinkles. If using an iron, turn the satin piece inside out to iron on the reverse side. This helps preserve the fabric's sheen. Avoid using a high heat setting on the iron to prevent damage to the fabric. We recommend using a pressing cloth if ironing directly on the fabric.

STORAGE

The best way to store your satin pieces is by hanging them on hangers or folding them flat on a shelf or in a drawer. Store satin pieces in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
