Rua do Almada - story of our brand name
Porto has a special place in our hearts. It was there Almada came to life and where we came up with the brand name. 

When we were on our very first factory trip in Porto we stayed at this cute Air bnb on a street called Rua do Almada. After a long day of visiting the factories we came back to the apartment and found ourselves staring at this street sign. It was this moment our brand name Almada was born. AL in the beginning from Alexa & DA in the end from Linda. The name Almada instantly felt right.

The beautiful old streets of Porto never stop to amaze us. To get the most authentic Porto feeling, it is always best to stroll around the long beautiful streets and extempore stop at cafes to do some people watching or hop on a tram and enjoy the view.
